A member of the ENCOD Steering Committee is expected:
to be actively present on the SC mailing list at least once a week
to be able to understand (basic) English
to give constructive feedback to all proposals done on the SC list, help taking a decision on them and afterwards defend this decision
to serve the interests of the association, which might be different from my own
to write the ENCOD Monthly Bulletin once every 5 or 6 months and comment the drafts written by others (edited in the last days of the month)
to represent ENCOD at official events, when invited
to supervise the functioning of the secretariat, follow up on decisions of General Assembly, annual report etc.
to take part in SC meetings (2/3 times a year)
to serve as a link between the secretariat and Encod members (possibly in working groups that are formed on specific issues, or as a national or language coordinator)
