My experience with drug policy reform: I work with Encod for more than 2 years , from Representative in IHRA and the Conference on Cannabis Fair of Oporto, doing all translations to Portuguese (News, Articles, Bulletin, etc.). Mostly with Encod but also with Apdej (Portugal) I attempt to think seriously about all the possibilities of changing the prohibitionist drug system, to send and to participate in all commentaries of all companions and mainly to pass to the action through of direct contacts and of strategies proposals.

My view on Encod: Encod is the NGO that better can influence the system, by 2 reasons:

1- it is constituted by drug users, well organized, including cultured and intelligent people.

2- spite of all the drug knowledge, its members do not lose by egoisms, disorganization, negativism and hopeless (typical of others drug users organizations). That`s why for me, we are much more well prepared and informed than only politicians organizations and at the same time we benefitted from a strong organizational structure.

In the coming two years I want to contribute to Encod in the following way: To help Encod to fortify his organization, for that I want to work in the constitution of one future Legal Department, that allows Free Legal Advice in all Europe, for members. Also I want to work intensely in the Strategy of Social Communication, because I consider fundamental that the Message Anti-Prohibition arrives at all citizens. Obvious that I`ll work in all the functions and tasks that are necessary so that Encod solidify and grow!

I would be a good SC member because: I will give to our Organization all the energy proportional to my inability to hold the prohibition system. I am ready to move mainly with the Legal Department and also of Social Communication (both, or only the one more needed) because I graduated from Law University and a few years before from the Communication College, I have worked in this areas and I really love, so I`d like to use all the experience and knowledge that I earned to change the Prohibition System
